Nialove Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Moonfire Private Limited, India ("Moonfire", "we", "us") for your use of the Nialove app ("the app"). By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

1. Information only, not medical advice

The app is for general information only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace your doctor, midwife or other healthcare provider. Always ask them about your health and your pregnancy. Never ignore or delay professional advice because of something in the app. If you think you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number straight away.

Week-by-week figures, sizes and dates are estimates based on the due date you enter. Every pregnancy and baby is different.

2. Emergency alarm

The emergency alarm and emergency contact are convenience features. They depend on your phone's volume, settings, battery, signal and permissions, and on your contact's availability, so they may not work every time. Do not rely on them as your only way to get help; contact emergency services directly when you need them.

3. Your use of the app

• You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• You are responsible for the information and photos you enter, and for keeping your phone secure.
• You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the app or its content, or use it in any unlawful way, except where the law allows it. To protect its content the app may block screenshots and screen recording of its own screens.

4. Your data

Your information is stored on your device and is not sent to us. See the Privacy Policy. Because we do not hold a copy, we cannot restore it for you. If you lose your phone or uninstall the app, it may be recoverable only from your own phone backup, so please keep your phone's backup switched on.

5. Content and ownership

The app, its design, text, illustrations and other content are owned by Moonfire Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The week-by-week information and notes are original text written by Moonfire for general information. You keep ownership of the photos and text you add; we only store them on your device so the app can show them to you.

6. Premium and payments

• Free plan: the month-by-month guide, the daily note and some Explore articles, the weight log for the current month, the latest kick session, the contraction timer, appointments with one reminder (1 hour before) and manual addresses, baby mode, the gallery and the emergency alarm.
• Premium: the week-by-week guide, all Explore articles, My Journal (writing and editing; old entries stay readable), full weight and kick history, custom reminder times, Google Maps inside the app, keepsake cards and the journal PDF.
• Free month: when you finish setting up you get 30 days of Premium without paying. When it ends, the Premium features turn off until you subscribe. Anything you saved stays on your phone. During the free month you may be offered a discount of 50% on your first month or year of a subscription; the offer ends with the free month.
• To keep the free month fair, the app checks the current time online when it can. If your phone's date or time is set back, Premium switches off until the clock is corrected.
• Premium is bought through Google Play (or the Apple App Store on iPhone).
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your store account settings; cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Prices, free-trial or introductory offers, taxes and refunds are handled by the store under its own rules. We cannot issue refunds ourselves; please request them from the store.

7. Third-party services

The app can show Google Maps and hand off to your phone's dialer, email app, camera and share sheet. Those services are provided by others and have their own terms.

8. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that reminders and alarms will always be delivered on time.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Moonfire is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or for decisions you make based on the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms or the app from time to time. When we do, the date above changes; continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the app or a feature.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer rights you have under the law of the place where you live.
