This Privacy Policy applies only to the Vastu Compass mobile application. It does not describe the practices of Moonfire Private Limited’s other products, services, or website, which are covered by their own separate policies. Where anything in this app-specific policy differs from a general Moonfire policy, this policy governs the Vastu Compass app.

Summary

Vastu Compass does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The app has no sign-up, no user accounts, and no servers. It requests no permissions and makes no network connections. Everything you enter and every report you generate stays on your own device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Through the Vastu Compass app, Moonfire Private Limited does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address
• Your location or GPS coordinates
• Your device identifiers or advertising ID
• Analytics, crash reports, usage statistics, or behavioural data
• Any personal or sensitive information of any kind

The app does not require you to create an account or sign in.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The following is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or anyone else:

• Property details you enter (property type, configuration, floor, builder name, city — all optional)
• Room directions you record during a Vastu check
• Vastu reports you choose to save, and any notes you add
• App preferences, such as whether you have completed onboarding and accepted the in-app disclaimer

This data is held in the app’s private storage on your device. We have no ability to access it.

3. Device Sensors

Vastu Compass reads your device’s compass (magnetometer) sensor to determine the direction your phone is pointing, in order to calculate your Vastu report. Compass readings are used in real time only and are never recorded, stored, or transmitted. Reading this sensor requires no permission and does not identify you.

4. Permissions

Vastu Compass requests no permissions. It does not access location, camera, photos, contacts, storage, microphone, phone state, or the internet.

On Android 10 and above, when you choose to download a report as a PDF, the file is saved to your device’s Downloads folder using the operating system’s built-in media storage. This requires no permission and involves no third party. On older Android versions, the PDF is saved within the app’s private storage and offered to you through your device’s standard share option.

5. Network Access

This app has no internet access and makes no network connections of any kind. It contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no cloud storage, no account system, and no third-party services or SDKs that transmit data.

6. Sharing and Exporting Reports

You may choose to export a report as a PDF and share it using your device’s share feature. When you do, the PDF is created on your device and handed to whichever app you select (for example WhatsApp, Gmail, or Drive). We do not receive a copy and have no involvement in that transfer. Once shared, the file is governed by the privacy policy of the app you shared it through.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all data lives on your device:

• You may delete any saved report from within the app at any time.
• Uninstalling Vastu Compass permanently removes all of its data from your device.
• Moonfire Private Limited holds no copy of your data and has nothing to delete on its side.

8. Children’s Privacy

Vastu Compass is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including persons under the age of 18.

9. Your Rights

Because we collect no personal data through this app, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or erase on your behalf. 10. Disclaimer

Vastu Compass provides information based on traditional Vastu Shastra principles and approximate compass readings. It is intended for educational and informational purposes only and is not professional, structural, engineering, financial, medical, or legal advice. Please consult a qualified Vastu consultant and a licensed structural engineer or architect before making any construction, demolition, renovation, or purchase decision.

11. Changes to This Policy

If a future version of the app changes what information it handles — for example by adding an optional enquiry form or paid feature — this policy will be updated on this page with a revised Effective Date before that version is released, and the change will be reflected in the app.
